Clog lovin’: Dior Temptation Leather & Suede

Well it is official:  I am crazy for clogs!  This particular pair, anyway:

I am not really sure if these can be 100 % classified as ‘clogs’ but Saks Fifth Avenue listed them as such, so that is what they must be!  Clogs!  And aren’t they fabulous?!

The Dior ‘Temptation’ Slingback Clog is made in Italy of suede and lambskin and features a 5 1/2″ heel (with 1 3/4″ platform) and has an adjustable buckle.  This beautiful shoe will set you back about $860 dollars, buuuuut Neiman Marcus has ‘em on sale for the bargain price of $387 !!!!   That is a great deal!  And if I had an endless supply of cash shooting out of my pocketbook, these lovely shoes would’ve been in my closet, like, yesterday!  For now, though, I will have to admire them from afar!

Audrina Patridge in Rachel Gilbert

Reality starlet Audrina Patridge hit the red carpet (back in August) for the (Belvedere) RED Launch Celebration looking super cute…..

Audrina chose a silver and nude bead embellished mini dress with a scalloped hemline by Rachel Gilbert.  I love everything about this dress: the scallop pattern, the cut, the color and just the overall style!  Very cute!  And I especially love the wide, black leather Chanel belt that she paired with it!   

Let us not forget the shoes:

On her feet:  black leather platform pumps with gold-studded heels by Ruthie Davis. 

I really like this dress, and it is definitely something I would wear!  What do you think?  Do you like it?  Or not so much?

Demi Moore in Chanel

Demi Moore was in the Big Apple a couple of days ago for the screening of ‘Five’ wearing Chanel….

 

 

Demi selected a black fitted dress with geometry inspired shapes at the neck and bottom hemline from the Chanel Resort 2012 Collection.  Oh, and black Christian Louboutin peep-toe pumps and of course some Chanel jewelry.  Same old thing with her hair and makeup…..which is lovely…..but predictable. 

The real question here is:  are the circulating rumors true??  Did Demi and Ashton actually call it quits?!  Are they headed for the big-D??  Say it ain’t so!

Back to the couture:  do you like Demi in this black with a bit of color Chanel dress?  Love it?  Loathe it?  Somewhere in the middle?

Gucci Museo: Camilla Belle in Gucci

Actress Camilla Belle was on hand in Florence, Italy yesterday to celebrate the grand opening of Gucci Museo….wearing Gucci, of course!

 

I am in love with this!  Camilla wore a black and gold sequin-embroidered georgette satin dress from the Gucci Resort 2012 Collection.  She went full-on Gucci, too!  Her black patent leather heels and black clutch are also from the Gucci Collection!    And she looks fabulous!  I am not crazy about her hair, though.   I think she should’ve done something different….maybe a super sleek, super straight ‘do?!  Or even a sexy ponytail?!  But, other than her drab hair, Camilla looks fan-freaking-tastic!  Wait!  One more thing….her nails aren’t polished!  That upsets me, because perfectly manicured, polished nails really complement a great dress!  Oh wells, I’m over it.

Mad for plaid: Emmy Rossum in Smythe

Plaid is definitely one of those fashion statements that can be amazingly chic or go terribly wrong.  Emmy Rossum gets it absolutely right in this red and black plaid Smythe jacket!  I love it!

This casual look is adorable!   I love everything about it-as a daytime look-the grey sweater, the dark pants, the booties and of course the jacket!  It is very chic but also doesn’t look like she is trying too hard!  Emmy is such a doll, too!  She has a great smile to go right along with her cute plaid jacket!  Love her!  And I would totally wear this entire outfit!
