Black and white is fantastic!
Celeb: Jennifer Morrison
Designer: Donna Karan
Event: ‘Knife Fight’ Premiere @ the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival, New York City
Verdict: I LOVE THIS! It is perfection! I absolutely adore black and white….it is always so classy and chic. Jennifer’s arms look nice and toned and I think she is showing just the right amount of cleavage. And on top of everything….she is rockin’ a jumpsuit! And she is totally killing it! So pretty! The only thing I am not totally sold on is her orange lipstick. I definitely don’t hate it, but I don’t love it either. I think a glossy nude lip might have been better. Either way, though, I think Jennifer looks totally fantastic! I am in love with this Donna Karan jumpsuit!
What do you think? Do you like this black and white Donna Karan jumpsuit on Jennifer? Love it or leave it? Yay or nay?
Well, well. Orange and black have never looked so good….
Celeb: Olivia Munn
Designer: Jason Wu (dress), Christian Louboutin (pumps)
Event: Mercedes-Benz Transmission LA: AV CLUB Curated by Mike D, Los Angeles
Verdict: I freaking love this dress! It is so cute! I love how absolutely versatile it is, too. It can be dressed up with heels (like it is here) or worn will sandals sans belt for a cute, casual daytime look. And while I do love this dress on Olivia, I am not thrilled about her choice of shoe. Don’t get me wrong, people: HER LOUBOUTIN’S ARE AWESOME. I just wish she would’ve worn black heels, like the model:
I prefer the dress on the model, and here is why: It appears to fit the model better. I like that it is tighter in the bodice area, and I like that the model’s belt is thicker, more heavy. And obviously I much prefer the black heels versus Olivia’s nude hued pumps. That’s not to say Olivia doesn’t look great, because she does! I just prefer the way the model photo is styled I guess. Either way, though, WHAT A GREAT DRESS!
What do you think? Do you like this Jason Wu dress on Olivia? Love it or leave it? Which version do you prefer? Olivia or the model in the lookbook photo?
A stunning lady in red….
Celeb: Ali Larter
Designer: Zac Posen
Event: 2012 GLAAD Media Awards, Los Angeles
Verdict: Ali looks great! This strapless red Zac Posen dress from the Resort 2012 Collection is so pretty! I especially love the sweetheart neckline and ruffle-like detail. Her strappy black sandals are casual and cute, keeping this look fairly low-key, but still very polished and sophisticated. And I adore Ali’s loose, tousled blonde bob! She looks fantastic!
What do you think? Do you like Ali in this strapless Zac Posen dress? Love it or leave it? Yay or nay?
An American beauty….
Celeb: Mena Suvari
Designer: Tadashi Shoji
Event: ‘American Reunion’ Photocall, Madrid
Verdict: Gorgeous! I think this red and black embroidered cocktail dress is so beautiful! I especially like the tiered skirt and 0ff-the-shoulder neckline! So pretty. This dress is the perfect mix of sexy and classy….I really love it! In fact, I want it for myself! Mena’s blonde bob and light, minimal makeup provide lovely finishing touches to this already fantastic look. Definitely an A+

Celeb: Camilla Belle
Designer: Jason Wu (dress), Sergio Rossi (heels)
Event: ‘The Five Year Engagement’ Premiere @ the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival, New York City
Verdict: I freaking love this Jason Wu dress on Camilla! Seriously. Words cannot express how much I LOVE this dress! The keyhole detail, the length, the color….it is all so flattering on her! This dress feels almost futuristic, but with a chic, modern twist. Jason Wu gets it right every.single.time. Camilla’s black pumps, sweeping up-do and peachy colored lips provide gorgeously perfect finishing touches. As I said….I love this and cannot think of a single negative thing to say about it! Period.
