The Tonight Show with Jay Leno: Lizzy Caplan in Stella McCartney

Celeb:  Lizzy Caplan

Designer:  Stella McCartney (dress), Ruthie Davis (sandals)

Event:  The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Los Angeles

Verdict:  I really quite like this tweed color block Stella McCartney dress on Lizzy!  While the grey, black and brown color palette is kinda different, I still think this dress is really chic looking.  Plus, Lizzy is tiny and super cute and this dress really accentuates her slim frame.  I like the high neck and the above-the-knee length….and I love the black platform Ruthie Davis sandals she is wearing!  Soft waves and pink lips complete this lovely look.

What do you think?  Do you like this Stella McCartney dress on Lizzy?  Love it or loathe it?  Yay or nay?

Clos du Bois Rouge Los Angeles Launch: Jaime King in Jason Wu

Celeb:  Jaime King

Designer:  Jason Wu (dress, shoes and clutch)

Event:  Clos du Bois Rouge Los Angeles Launch, Chateau Marmont

Verdict:  Well, I have been WOW’ed again this morning.  All I can say about this is: IT IS FANTASTIC.  I know some of you out there may so no, that there is too much side-baring cleavage, but I say NO WAY, NO CHANCE.  Jaime looks unbelievable in this coral-colored silk crepe dress by Jason Wu.  (Actually, her entire ensemble is Jason Wu!)  I think the tiny bit of side cleavage Jaime is showing is super sexy….yet still chic.  It isn’t over the top and the rest of her outfit is very conservative.  I mean, for the most part, this outfit is pretty basic and simple.  The slight lack of fabric on the side is a fun, unexpected twist.  This color is great on Jaime and it’s perfect for summer.  Strappy black platform sandals and barely-there makeup complete this lovely look.

What do you think?  Do you like this Jason Wu dress on Jaime?  Love it or leave it?  Yay or nay?

‘The Apparition’ Premiere: Ashley Greene in Donna Karan Atelier

WOW.  JUST WOW.

Celeb:  Ashley Greene

Designer:  Donna Karan Atelier (gown), Jimmy Choo (heels)

Event:  ‘The Apparition’ Premiere, Los Angeles

Verdict:  As I said above:  WOW.  I think Ashley looks outstanding.  And what gets me most excited about this look is the fact that is so different for Ashley!  I feel like with this dress she is finally breaking out of her shell!  Trying something new!  And how great does she look?!  I mean, obviously this fuchsia Donna Karan Atelier dress is amazeballs on its own, but on Ashley it is double AMAZEBALLS.  The sweetheart neckline, the gathered side and the cascading ruffles….I just love everything about it.  So pretty and feminine.  And paired with a pair of Jimmy Choo nude slingback pumps….pure perfection.  Soft waves and matching pink lips complete this red-carpet look.  A+!

What do you think?  Do you like Ashley in this Donna Karan Atelier gown?  Love it or loathe it?

Bachelorette Premiere: Isla Fisher in Reem Acra

Celeb:  Isla Fisher

Designer:  Reem Acra

Event:  ’Bachelorette’ Premiere, Los Angeles

Verdict:  I think this red lace Reem Acra dress is so pretty on Isla!  This is an actress that we don’t get to see enough of on the red carpet, IMO.  She is such a beautiful girl…she has the most gorgeous hair and flawless skin.  So, needless to say, I can’t imagine her ever looking anything less than perfect.  This look is no exception to that rule.  She looks quite lovely.   I love the scalloped lace neckline and the red waistband makes her own waist look quite tiny.  Soft makeup and gold platform pumps complete this ultra-feminine look.  I love it!

What do you think?  Do you like this Reem Acra dress on Isla?  Love it or loathe it?  Yay or nay?

Celeb Street Style: Fergie

Who:  Fergie

What:  Out-and-about in Los Angeles

Wear:   Carven (shorts, blouse & blazer), Goyard (black purse), Louis Vuitton (cream-colored purse)

Verdict:  Honestly, I only have one thing to say about this outfit:  It makes me want to hurt someone.  Seriously.  It is all wrong.  And it looks terrible on her.  The blouse is too tight on her chest….it looks like she is wearing a sports bra under there.  Her boobs look totally smashed.  And the blazer on top of the ill-fitting blouse makes her look frumpy.  There is just too much going on here.  The print shorts might not be so bad had they been paired with something simple.  But thrown into this mix they just clash with everything else.  I feel like all the elements of this outfit might not be so bad as stand alone pieces….but when put together as a whole ensemble….well, like I said.  It makes me want to hurt someone.  It is horrific.  AND LETS NOT FORGET ABOUT THE SHOES.  Oh man, the shoes.  I hate these shoes more than life itself.  So hideous.  And another thing?  Why does she need to carry TWO purses?  I don’t get it.  And I don’t get this outfit.  Sorry Fergie.  Epic outfit fail.

What do you think?  Do you like this Carven ensemble on Fergie?  Love it or loathe it?  Yay or nay?
