Critics’ Choice Movie Awards: Charlize Theron in Azzedine Alaïa

Charlize Theron was one of many celebs who walked the red carpet Thursday night at the 17th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards in Hollywood….

Charlize wore a black Azzedine Alaïa Fall 2011 Couture gown that features scalloped edges and a long ruffled skirt.  The South African beauty accessorized with strappy gold sandal, a black clutch and a Bvlgari ring.  She completed her look with a braided side bun.

OH MY WORD.  Charlize is breathtaking in this black Azzedine Alaïa gown.  I am in love with this!  Obviously Charlize never, ever disappoints on the red carpet.  She is pure, effortless perfection every.single.time.  Fantastic!  She is everything one should be when doing red carpet events: chic, polished, beautiful, classy, elegant.  As I said before:  perfection!

Critics’ Choice Movie Awards: Michelle Williams in Chanel

Michelle Williams attended the 17th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards at the Hollywood Palladium Thursday evening….

Michelle donned a black and white Chanel Resort 2012 dress that features an embellished black belt and paired with it a black leather quilted Chanel clutch and a simple black jeweled bracelet on each wrist.

Now, I really love this Chanel dress.  I think it is simply beautiful!  (It’s Chanel-no surprise that it is gorgeous!)  But I don’t like Michelle’s hair color.  I wish she would keep her super-short ‘do really light blonde!  I am not really diggin’ her strawberry hued hair…I feel like it takes away from this chic, classic look of her dress.  And another thing….the clutch she is carrying….it looks more like a large wallet, IMO.  I would’ve liked to see her carry a more fancy clutch.  Don’t get me wrong, the Chanel clutch she is carrying is super fab, but I don’t think it is appropriate with this dress. 

Overall, though, because this Chanel dress is so striking and stunning (I love black and white on the red carpet!) I am still definitely swooning over this!  It is so pretty and feminine!

Critics’ Choice Movie Awards: Shailene Woodley in Calvin Klein

Shailene Woodley attended the 17th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards at the Hollywood Palladium Thursday night in…ahem…Hollywood….

Shailene chose a silk grey floor length tank dress from the Calvin Klein Resort 2012 Collection that features a metallic silver halter neck and open back.  Va-va-voom!  This gown is super sexy on Shailene!  And I love her gorgeous long hair!  I think she looks quite stunning…buuuuut…one teeny, tiny complaint?  I wish she would’ve worn some jewelry!  A cocktail ring or maybe a bracelet…just a little something.  This dress is gorgeous, but I feel like there is something lacking here.  Oh yeah….and her nails need to be polished!  ;)

The verdict is this: Shailene is beautiful and so is her Calvin Klein dress, but an accessory or two would’ve made this absolutely perfect!  As is, I give it a B+

Critics’ Choice Movie Awards: Berenice Bejo in Elie Saab

Berenice Bejo walked the red carpet at the 17th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards at the Hollywood Palladium Thursday evening….

 

Berenice chose a gorgeous lapis blue sleeveless beaded v-neck dress from the Elie Saab Spring 2012 Collection.  She paired it with gold Jimmy Choo sandals and a blue Edie Parker clutch.

This dress is amazing!  I love everything about it: the rich color, the embellishments, the length….it is so beautiful!  Berenice looks fantastic!  And I like that she wore her hair up so we can really focus on the dress!  This look is perfect!
