Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Launch Event: Camilla Belle in Jason Wu

Event:  Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Launch Event, New York City

Verdict:  I really like this Jason Wu dress on Camilla.  I love the A-line shape and the white floral detail on the skirt….and the fitted bodice is also really sexy!  This dress fits her great!  And the pop of blue with the Jimmy Choo clutch is just…..WOW!  So pretty!  I am not entirely loving the choice of shoes here….or her makeup for that matter.  I feel like her gray-ish eye makeup isn’t appropriate for a summertime event.  Know what I mean?  Anyway, other than those itsy-bitsy minor complaints, I think Camilla looks lovely.  This really is a gorgeous dress.

‘Total Recall’ Photocall: Jessica Biel in Christian Cota

Event:  ‘Total Recall’ Photocall, Berlin

Verdict:  Well, this look is not my favorite.  In fact, I don’t really like anything about it.  I don’t care for the color palette, I don’t like the way this Christian Cota dress fits Jessica and I definitely do not like her hair and makeup!  I will say this: I like her Brian Atwood sandals!  They are super cute and a really cool color….but I am just not feelin’ the rest of this ensemble!

And I do think the runway version of this dress is cute.  See it on the model….

 

See what I mean?  It looks completely different (better!) on the model.

‘Total Recall’ Premiere: Kate Beckinsale in Armani Privé

Well, ‘Total Recall’ might totally suck, but Kate looks outstanding….

Event:  ‘Total Recall’ Premiere, Los Angeles

Verdict:  I love it!  This snake skin-like dress is totally amazeballs!  Honestly, where else can you where a dress that literally looks like a lime green and black colored snake than at a world-wide premiere of a science fiction (blockbuster?) movie?!  Nowhere.  This Armani Privé dress is perfect for this ‘Total Recall’ premiere.  Not to mention that Kate looks hot!  The dress fits her great, and her hair and makeup are sexy and sultry.

FOX All-Star Party: Lea Michele in Emilio Pucci

Event:  FOX All-Star Party, Los Angeles

Verdict:  I think this is one of the first times (if not the first time) that I actually went “wow, she looks really good!’  I mean, Lea is a pretty girl, but I feel like she has been stuck in a fashion rut….having worn a string of ‘so-so’ outfits on recent red carpet appearances.  This is a welcomed change.  I really love this Emilio Pucci dress!  It is beautiful and it looks lovely on Lea.   I like the plunging neckline, the bunched-up sleeves, the flouncy skirt and especially the crystal embellished waistband….it is so feminine and flirty!  And the color is divine!  I have to say, though, I am not completely loving her Brian Atwood pumps with this dress.  I think they are a bit too harsh for such a light, airy dress.  Other than that….I am head-over-heels for this!   A messy side braid and minimal makeup complete this gorgeous look.

MuchMusic Video Awards: Lucy Hale in Peter Som

Pretty in plum peplum….

Event:  2012 MuchMusic Video Awards, Toronto

Verdict:  Well, to be honest, this isn’t my favorite look for Lucy.  While I think this plum-colored peplum dress by Peter Som is really cute, I am just not loving it on her.  I mean, sure, she looks nice.  But something is off about this, IMO.   Maybe it is partially because I don’t really care for the nude pumps paired with the plum and black dress?  Not sure.  Overall, Lucy looks pretty.  But I just don’t love this.   Know what I mean?
