Berlin Film Festival: Anne Hathaway in Chanel Couture

Event:  Berlin Film Festival, Germany

Verdict:  One word: gorgeous.  And if you know me at all, you know it pains me to praise Anne.  I am not a fan of her as an actress….and I am certainly not a fan of her short hair!!!!  (I loathe it, in fact)  But, all that aside, I can recognize and acknowledge a beautiful dress when I see one.  I basically love everything about this dress:  the deep navy blue color, the tulle, the crystal embellishments….everything.  It is ultra feminine and so, so pretty!  If I wanted to get nit-picky, I might tell you that I don’t particularly care for the tights and matching shoes, but whatevs, I’m over it!  This Chanel Couture gown is outstanding!  And, Anne, if you are reading this, please grow out that hair, girl!  ;)

70th Annual Golden Globe Awards: Anne Hathaway in Chanel Couture

Event:  70th Annual Golden Globe Awards, Los Angeles

Verdict:  WOW.  I love it!  And as you all may or may not know, I am not a huge fan of Anne as an actress.  But you simply cannot deny awesomeness.  And that’s what this is: awesomeness.  Anne looks absolutely amazing in this crystal embellished Chanel Couture gown.  The peplum top gives her a bit of shape while the column skirt really elongates her figure!  This is hands down the best I have seen Anne look in a long, long time.   Ahhhh, I just love it so much!!!!   Chanel fine jewelry and minimal makeup served as her only accessories!  Best dressed of the night?  I think maybe.  A+!

Chanel’s Fine Jewelry Anniversary Celebration: Elle Fanning in Chanel Couture

Event:  Chanel’s Fine Jewelry 80th Anniversary Celebration, New York City

Verdict:  Well, of course I love anything and everything Chanel….but….this might be the one exception.  Honestly.  Elle looks like a pilgrim.  This isn’t a cute look.  It looks more like a Halloween costume than it does couture fashion.  And I think we’re done here.

The lovely British actress graces the pages of October Vogue and talks about her man, her new movie (Anna Karenina) and lots of other stuff.  Honestly, I have never been a huge Keira Knightley fan.  As an actress, I mean.  She is obviously gorgeous, but I don’t think she is a particularly stellar actress.  That being said, I do like to see her in couture.  Lots and lots of couture.  She is tall and thin and honestly looks really beautiful in most everything.  Which is why I can’t wait to get my hands on this magazine….

London Film Festival: Elizabeth Olsen in Chanel Couture

Elizabeth Olsen in the best Olsen!  The actress attended the London Film Festival premiere of ‘Martha Marcy May Marlene’ at the Vue West End a couple of days ago….

 

Elizabeth wore a Chanel Spring 2012 Couture dress that features a soft-pink beaded top and a tiered tulle skirt in the same shade of pink.   A Chanel diamond ring sits atop her finger and Christian Louboutin satin pumps are on her feet.  She looks like a pretty little doll!  I really like this Chanel Couture on Elizabeth.  I think this might be my favorite look of hers…..maybe.  I also like her in this Alexander McQueen black halter dress:

 

As I was saying earlier….Elizabeth Olsen is the best Olsen!  The most fashionable of the trio, that much is certain.

Which look do you like better?  Elizabeth in Chanel Couture or Alexander McQueen?   I love them both!  I simply CANNOT chose one over the other!  ;)
