2013 Oscars: Charlize Theron in Christian Dior

Event:  2013 Oscars, Los Angeles

Verdict:  Amazing.  Charlize looks like a vision in white!  This white silk bustier dress is stunning and I love the little bit of added detail in the embroidered peplum.  This kind of reminds me of Anne Hathaway at the Golden Globes when she wore a similar Chanel version….but this is better!  Way better!  Barely-there makeup and Harry Winston jewels complete this lovely look.  A!  Top five, for sure.

Cinema For Peace Gala: Charlize Theron in Gucci

Event:  2013 Cinema For Peace Gala, Germany

Verdict:  Well, as I said, I have mixed feelings about this.  Charlize is stunning, and I normally love all of her red carpet choices.  This, however, I am not loving.  Aside from the fact that I despise her hair, I think this color sort of washes her out.  I mean, I think this Gucci dress is beautiful!  I love the way it hugs her figure and the embellished detail on the side is amazing!  I just don’t care for the color.  I do love her makeup, though.  The deep red lips are ultra glamorous!

MTV Movie Awards: Charlize Theron in Lanvin

Sexy and chic in red….

Event:  2012 MTV Movie Awards, Los Angeles

Verdict:  Love it!  This strapless red Lanvin dress looks so pretty on Charlize.  And I love the peplum detail at her waist.  She is always so effortlessly cool, she always looks perfectly put together.  Strappy silver Jimmy Choo sandals and minimal makeup complete this gorgeous look.

‘Prometheus’ Premiere: Charlize Theron in Christian Dior Couture

Stunning.  As always.

Event:  ‘Prometheus’ Premiere, London

Verdict:  I LOVE THIS.  I think this fully sequined navy blue strapless dress is so gorgeous!   The bustier style top and side slit make for a very sexy, yet still very simple overall look.  She looks classy and pretty.  Perfect actually.   Side-swept blonde locks and beautiful makeup complete this lovely look.

2012 White House Correspondents’ Dinner: Charlize Theron in Emilio Pucci

Addin’ some sex appeal to the White House…

Event:  2012 White House Correspondents’ Dinner

Verdict:  I think this lacy black and nude Emilio Pucci dress is really pretty on Charlize!  The black lace over the nude colored gown is ultra sexy, but because the sleeves are long and the gown itself is floor-length, I think that keeps is chic and classy, as well as VA-VA-VOOM sexy!  I also really love Charlize’s makeup….her sort-of smoky eyes look really nice with this gown.  The only think I am not crazy about here is her hair.  I wish she would have left it down and swept to the side.  Other than that teeny, tiny complaint, I think Charlize looks perfect!  I love this Emilio Pucci gown!
