Celeb: Jane Fonda
Designer: Atelier Versace (gown), Jimmy Choo (sandals), Versace (clutch), Chopard (jewels)
Event: ‘Jimmy P. (Psychotherapy of a Plains Indian)’ premiere, 2013 Cannes Film Festival, France
Verdict: UMMMM can I start by pointing out that this woman is 75 YEARS OLD???? Holy amazement. She looks phenomenal. I mean. Come on. This silk turquoise Atelier Versace gown with Swarovski embellishments and cut-out detail is absolutely perfect for the actress. It is sexy yet still age appropriate. Jane looks hot! Paired with a pair of Jimmy Choo’s, a silver Versace clutch and a stylish up-do, she gets it just right. There are many actresses half her age who need to take note! Attention ladies: do what Jane Fonda is doing! She looks better than ever! A+!
What do you think? Do you like Jane in this sparkly bright turquoise gown? Love it? Hate it?
Because I have been super busy this past week, the blog has taken a backseat (unfortunately). But now that I’m back, I am returning to you with a bang! With one of my favorite ladies…..Marion Cotillard! *swoon*
Celeb: Marion Cotillard
Designer: Vivienne Westwood (dress), Chopard (jewels)
Event: Chopard Lunch @ the 2013 Cannes Film Festival, France
Verdict: I love this pink and ivory strapless Vivienne Westwood dress on Marion! I think she looks so pretty! The corseted top and high-low hem are so sexy, but she keeps the look daytime appropriate with nude sandals, barely there makeup and simple hair. To me, this is quite a change for the actress who typically wears Dior. And again, this is a luncheon, so this color palette is perfect for daytime! I love everything about this!
What do you think? Do you like Marion in this high-low Vivienne Westwood dress? Love it? Loathe it?
Celeb: Jennifer Lawrence
Designer: Dior Haute Couture (gown), Chopard (necklace)
Event: 2013 Oscars, Los Angeles
Verdict: WOW. Jennifer looks simply outstanding in this Christian Dior gown. I mean, I know a lot of people deem this look too bridal, but I say heck no! It is feminine, elegant and beautiful. The ‘Silver Linings Playbook’ best actress winner looks like a classic hollywood beauty. And I really like the Chopard necklace worn backwards, draping down her back! Jennifer is definitely a best-dressed candidate for me, she makes my top five list for sure. Love this!
What do you think? Do you like Jennifer in this pale pink and white Dior Haute Couture gown? Love it or loathe it? Yay or nay?
Some of you may say no, but I say yes!
Celeb: Marion Cotillard
Designer: Christian Dior (dress), Chopard (jewelry)
Event: 2013 SAG Awards, Los Angeles
Verdict: Well, as I said before….some of you might not like this, but I do! I think Marion looks amazing! I mean, okay, I can admit this isn’t the best red carpet dress I’ve ever seen, but she still looks lovely. The strapless part of the dress really shows off her collarbone and shoulders, while the rest of the gown is kinda flowy but still structured enough to emphasize her killer figure. Plus, this blue color is super rich and looks fantastic against her skin tone. Sleek hair, simple jewels and black pumps complete this pretty look. I am most-definitely a fan of Marion in this Christian Dior gown. Easy A.
What do you think? Do you like Marion in this color-block Dior gown? Love it or loathe it? Yay or nay?
Celeb: Olivia Munn
Designer: Giorgio Armani
Event: 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards, Los Angeles
Verdict: I love this! Olivia was one of my favorites on the Golden Globe red carpet this year! I love the navy blue skirt and turquoise encrusted top! A silver Armani clutch and silver Armani heels served as accessories. A sleek, pulled-back hairdo, minimal makeup and a Chopard necklace provided the finishing touches! Love it! A+!
