‘Total Recall’ Photocall: Jessica Biel in Christian Cota

Designer:  Christian Cota (dress), Brian Atwood (shoes)

Event:  ‘Total Recall’ Photocall, Berlin

Verdict:  Well, this look is not my favorite.  In fact, I don’t really like anything about it.  I don’t care for the color palette, I don’t like the way this Christian Cota dress fits Jessica and I definitely do not like her hair and makeup!  I will say this: I like her Brian Atwood sandals!  They are super cute and a really cool color….but I am just not feelin’ the rest of this ensemble!

And I do think the runway version of this dress is cute.  See it on the model….

 

See what I mean?  It looks completely different (better!) on the model.

Women of Worth Awards: Katie Cassidy in Christian Cota

Katie Cassidy was in attendance at the 6th Annual L’Oreal Paris Women of Worth Awards which were held at Hearst Tower in New York earlier this week….

The actress chose a seam detail hammered satin v-neck cocktail dress by Christian Cota and paired it with black pumps and Kabana oyster bangles.  I love this!  I think Katie looks awesome!  I really like how this Christian Cota dress almost has a futuristic feel to it….yet it is still very chic, very edgy and very sexy!  I love the black and silver color combination too!  I think Katie got it just right by opting to keep her accessories to a minimum by only wearing a few bangles….this dress does not need any distractions!  She looks fantastic!  Love it!

Emily Blunt in Christian Cota

Another lovely lady to attend the Toronto International Film Festival:  British beauty Emily Blunt.  Emily wore a one-piece black jumpsuit from the Christian Cota Fall 2011 Collection.

 

 

 

I absolutely love the sparkly top half of this jumpsuit!  And the open back with the cross-over sparkly straps is gorgeous!  But the pants are too long!  They are dragging on the ground!  They need to be shorter, so we can at least see a little bit of her shoes!  I would love to see what heel she paired with this jumpsuit!  Other than the length of the pants, though, I like this look on Emily.   I like how she kept her accessories to a minimum, too.  The open back on this jumpsuit is the only accessory she needs!  Super sexy!
