Celeb:  Zoe Saldana

Designer:  Balmain (skirt and top), Christian Louboutin (pumps)

Event:  ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ Premiere, Berlin

Verdict:  ZOE CAN DO NO WRONG.  I love this and I love her!  This embroidered pink and gold leather top and bright pink tulip-shaped skirt (both by Balmain) are different, sure.  But most certainly in a good way!  Zoe looks great!  She looks sexy and edgy and sleek all at the same time.  Plus, it’s for the ‘Star Trek’ premiere!  She needed to wear something sort of futuristic!  A dark manicure, slicked-back hair and a pair of Christian Louboutin ’Pigaresille’ pumps complete this gorgeous look.  For me, this look deserves an A.

What do you think?  How would you grade this look?  Love it or loathe it?  Tell me, people!!!

Hope everyone has a great week!  :)

Iron Man 3 Premiere: Gwyneth Paltrow in Antonio Berardi

Gwyneth+Paltrow+Iron+Men+Antonio+Berardi+Tom+Lorenzo+8

Gwyneth+Paltrow+Iron+Men+Antonio+Berardi+Tom+Lorenzo+14

Celeb:  Gwyneth Paltrow

Designer:  Antonio Berardi (top and maxi skirt), Christian Louboutin (sandals)

Event:  Iron Man 3 Premiere, Los Angeles

Verdict:  Dare I say this….but….I really like this!  As I am not a huge fan of Gwynnie, I can admit when she looks good….and GIRL LOOKS GOOD!  Typically I would not be a fan of such a revealing dress for a red carpet event (or any other event, really) but in this case it is the Iron Man 3 premiere, so it feels right….if that makes sense.  The colors in this Antonio Berardi ensemble: the black and white paired with the green and navy….I don’t know….they just work together.  Like I said, to me, this dress just looks Iron Man-ish.  Somehow appropriate.  I really can’t explain it any further than that.  And not to mention that Gwyneth Queen of the World Paltrow has a KILLER bod.  So, in any other instance, and probably on anybody else, a bit of butt cheek on the red carpet would be a giant no-no.  But on this day only, for Gwyneth and for Iron Man, I say yes.  She makes this dress look chic and feminine, and I think she looks sexy as ever!  The white Christian Louboutin sandals are great with this dress, IMO.  And, lastly, plain hair and makeup.  But let’s be honest.  With a dress like this one, plain hair and makeup are the way to go.  The dress stands alone.  For me, this is a stand-out look that most couldn’t pull off.  Gwyneth does, and does it quite well.  A+

What do you think?  Do you like Gwyneth in this multi-color, sheer panel Antonio Berardi blouse and maxi skirt?  Love it or hate it?  Classy or trashy?

Game of Thrones Premiere: Emilia Clarke in Victoria Beckham

0000emilia

Celeb:  Emilia Clarke

Designer:  Victoria Beckham (dress), Christian Louboutin (clutch)

Event:  ‘Game of Thrones’ Premiere, Los Angeles

Verdict:  Wow!  Emilia looks amazing in this blue silk-crepe Victoria Beckham gown with black piping accents.  The British beauty (who recently split with boyfriend Seth MacFarlane) accessorized with a black satin Christian Louboutin clutch, smoky eyes and a center-parted ‘do.  I think the color of this gown looks great on Emilia….it is bright and vibrant and really pretty….just like her!    Emilia is obviously a huge up-and-comer…..so of course I am excited to see what see wears next….and I CANNOT wait for Game of Thrones to be back on!  Anyway, back to the dress/look….I really like everything about this!  A+!

What do you think?  Do you like this Victoria Beckham dress on Emilia?  Love it or loathe it?  Yay or nay?

Rembrandt Hollywood Party: Jaime King in Peter Som

Rembrandt Hollywood Party Prep Event

Celeb: Jaime King

Designer:  Peter Som (skirt and top), Christian Louboutin (heels), Melinda Maria (bangles)

Event:  Rembrandt Hollywood Party, Los Angeles

Verdict:  I love this Peter Som ensemble on Jaime!  Love it!  This pale blue bustier-style top and tweed skirt combo is so incredibly feminine and pretty….it has a sort of retro housewife vibe.  And the actress followed through with the girly style all the way down to her feet with pointy-toe bow topped Christian Louboutin pumps.  Minimal makeup, soft hair and a few Melinda Maria bangles completed this lovely look.  This is the perfect outfit for a casual afternoon event: not too over-the-top for daytime, but perfectly appropriate and still fashionable.  I love it!

What do you think?  Do you like this Peter Som bustier top and tweed skirt on Jaime?  Love it or loathe it?  Yay or nay?

‘On The Road’ Premiere: Kristen Stewart in Erdem

Oh boy….

Kristen+Stewart+Erdem+OTRMPRC+2

Celeb:  Kristen Stewart

Designer:  Erdem (dress), Christian Louboutin (shoes)

Event:  ‘On The Road’ Premiere, New York City

Verdict:  Ugh.  This is not good.  At all.  Such a shame, too, because Kristen has a super-cute little figure and looks good in most anything.  I don’t like anything about this.  The dress is cut too short and she is too pale for this light blue color.

Check it out on the runway:

Kristen+Stewart+Erdem+OTRMPRC+3

See?  The dress looks a million times better a bit longer.  And I think I prefer the shoes the model is wearing, too.  Although I do love Christian Louboutin, I am just not feeling the neon pair that Kristen (well, her stylist) paired with this Erdem dress.

This is definitely a fashion nightmare.  It looks good on the runway, but not so good when altered for a real-life red-carpet event.

What do you think?  Do you like this see-through Erdem dress on Kristen?  Love it or loathe it?  Yay or nay?
