2013 SAG Awards: Nina Dobrev in Elie Saab

Verdict:  Well, well, well…..I think I found my best dressed.  Yes, indeed.  Nina looks gorgeous in this hot pink Elie Saab cutout gown.  AH-MAZING!   This dress is so simple, yet so sexy!   A super thin belt, diamond drop earrings and a very jeweled Judith Leiber clutch provide the perfect accessories.   Swept-up hair and minimal makeup complete this lovely look.  This is hands-down my favorite look of the evening!  A+!

Golden Horse Awards: Angelababy in Elie Saab

I’m going to be honest here.  I’ve never heard of this Angelababy person.  But GEEZ!  When I saw her in this dress, it was love at first sight!

Designer:  Elie Saab

Event:  49th Annual Golden Horse Awards, Taiwan

Verdict:  Stunning.  Elie Saab has been and always will be one of my most-favorite designers.  This lovely creation is certainly no exception.  This fully embellished sleeveless gown is so chic and beautiful…..she looks ultra-glamorous.   The styling here is spot-on, too.  I love that her hair is pulled back, keeping it nice and simple so the entire focus is on this breathtaking gown.  Diamond earrings, an emerald-colored cocktail ring and dramatic red lips complete this pretty, feminine look.  A+!

Toronto Film Festival: Nina Dobrev in Elie Saab

Event:  ‘Argo’ Premiere After-Party @ the 2012 Toronto Film Festival

Verdict:  Woo hoo!  I love this red Elie Saab cap-sleeve dress with folded peplum detail!  Nina  looks stunning!  And the plunging neckline is ultra sexy!  This dress perfectly accentuates her lovely figure.  And in a surprise turn of events….the Vampire Diaries actress paired periwinkle colored sandals with this red dress!  And guess what?!  These two (completely different) colors actually work really well together!  Side-swept curls and red lips complete this very pretty, very feminine look.  A+!

amfAR’s Cinema Against AIDS Gala: Nina Dobrev in Elie Saab

Sequins have never looked so good….

Event:  amfAR’s Cinema Against AIDS Gala @ the 2012 Cannes Film Festival

Verdict:  I absolutely LOVE this blue sequined Elie Saab gown on Nina!  She looks fabulous!  The off the shoulder part of the gown makes her shoulders and collarbone look oh-so-sexy!  And that slit!  WOW!  So hot!  She really looks great.  Strappy silver Jimmy Choo sandals, a Ferragamo clutch and a swept-up bun complete this lovely look.  I give this look an A+!

Cannes Film Festival: Doutzen Kroes in Elie Saab

My breath has been taken away….

Celeb:  Doutzen Kroes

Designer:  Elie Saab (gown), Jimmy Choo (heels)

Event:  ‘Cosmopolis’ Premiere @ the 2012 Cannes Film Festival

Verdict:  Ummm, if you have eyeballs in your head then you can see that this Elie Saab gown is AMAZING on Doutzen!!!  Utterly fabulous!  This dress is beautiful on its own, but when you put it on a beauty like Doutzen….oh wow….then it really stands out.  The pattern and beading and sparkle and belt….it is just all so gorgeous.  And not to mention the lovely green color.  I love everything about this!  A loose, swept-back ponytail and minimal makeup complete this perfect look.

And one more thing…..I would just like to point out the lady in the background with the big, pouty lips and bridal-like dress….she looks like she is trying so hard to look beautiful, and well she simply looks okay next to Doutzen in this Elie Saab gown who looks absolutely beautiful, yet so effortless.  See what I mean???
