So, not only is today Mother’s Day, but it is also a certain someones birthday…..
Happy Birthday to Leon Stidham, my sister’s chunky little “Scottie Dog” who has a very bad underbite! But, of course we love him regardless of his appearance and hope he has a great birthday!! Not sure how old he is, but I am going to go with five. Yeah, Happy 5th Birthday Leon! Hope you get lots and lots of Beggin’ Strips!!
Today is Mother’s Day, a day to celebrate and cherish moms everywhere, for all the loving and selfless things they do!
I would like to wish my wonderful mom a very Happy Mother’s Day!!!
And my wonderful mother-in-law too!
I have to work all day today, so I won’t get to spend any time with my mom or my mother-in-law, but I will thinking about both of them today! Moms are very important, so make sure to treat yours special today!

Now, I don’t mean to sound rude and offensive……but I don’t ever want to see a big, pregnant belly on the cover of a magazine! Never, ever! And I don’t care if you are a mega-celebrity!! Gross!
And I like Mariah Carey! I think she is pretty and very talented! She has an amazing voice! But really? Does anyone want to see this? Maybe I am wrong? Maybe there are millions of people out there who can’t wait to see Mariah’s ginormous pregnant belly?! Not me, though! Not me!
A lil bigger…..
Okay, so I know some people view pregnancy and child birth as a magical and beautiful miracle. And I suppose the actual giving-birth part is pretty phenomenal. Bringing another life into this world is a miracle. It is amazing. But don’t run around posing naked with your pregnant self hanging out everywhere, for all to view! I think it’s kinda weird to actually want to take photos like this. I can see if you want to take a few pictures during your pregnancy of you progress and of your tummy. But they should be kept private. It is a rather intimate thing for a husband and wife to share, IMO. Yeah, take a picture of your pregnant tummy. But put it in your baby book! Don’t plaster it all over America! Save it for your child (or children, in Mariah’s case) to enjoy later, when they can understand it’s importance.
Again, I am not trying to offend anyone. These are just my opinions. And I don’t have any children, so maybe my perspective is different from those who do. And you never know! Maybe I will someday! But I doubt it!
