Armani Privé Show: Zoe Saldana in Giorgio Armani

Head-to-toe perfection….

Event:  Armani Privé Fall 2012 Show, Paris

Verdict:  I love this shimmering coral Giorgio Armani halter dress on Zoe!  She looks amazing!  She accessorized her look with black patent peep toe pumps and a black clutch….both pieces are Armani as well.  Soft curls and pretty makeup complete this lovely look.  I really like that Zoe has kept this look minimal….nothing too over-the-top.  I mean, she is front row at a fashion show, so you want to look sophisticated and chic (which she most certainly does), but you don’t want to get too crazy with you makeup and accessories.  She is dressed and styled perfectly, IMO.  I love this!  A+ all the way!  :)

amfAR New York Gala: Nicky Hilton in Valentino

Nicky is quickly becoming one of my most-favorite celebrities!  She is completely stylish and so effortless….

Event:  amfAR New York Gala to kick off Fashion Week, New York City

Verdict:  I LOVE THIS VALENTINO DRESS ON NICKY.  The newly blonde Nicky looks fantastic in this beige and nude hued embroidered dress.  As I said before, she is so stylish and chic.  Her red carpet outfits and her everyday outfits always look so put-together and classy.  This look is no exception.  Really lovely.

amfAR New York Gala: Rose Byrne in Alexander McQueen

New York Gala to kick off Fashion Week….

Designer:  Alexander McQueen (dress and clutch), Sergio Rossi (heels)

Event:  amfAR New York Gala to kick off Fashion Week 2012, New York City

Verdict:  I love this nude and black lacy Alexander McQueen dress on Rose!  I think she looks stunning!  The dress looks like it was made just for her.  It really accentuates her tiny waist.  It is flattering, chic and sexy!  And I think her black platform Sergio Rossi pumps are the perfect addition to this outfit.  Light makeup and soft waves complete Rose’s lovely look.

Olivia Palermo in Christian Dior

Olivia Palermo attended the Christian Dior show in Paris during Fashion Week wearing…what else…Christian Dior!

 

Olivia was just one of the many celebs to attend the Christian Dior Spring 2012 show at Musee Rodin (*sigh*) and she did so wearing a sheer black lace Christian Dior dress.   While I don’t love the dress, I don’t hate it, either.  If you are going to wear a dress like this, then Paris Fashion Week is your best bet.  It is her accessories that are really bothering me.  I don’t like ‘em!  At least not all together and certainly not with this dress!  The earrings and the bracelet are way too big.  Period.  Too big and chunky.  And the red Dior handbag is amazing-just not appropriately paired with such a dainty dress.  And then we have her shoes.  They appear to be some sort of ankle bootie- almost “biker babe” style.  And they too are great.  But not with everything else she is wearing.  This Christian Dior dress is dainty and lightweight and super girly, IMO.  Her accessories are each great in their own way, but they are all wrong for this dress.  All wrong! 

Tisk, tisk Olivia!  You should definitely know better!  You are a fashionista, after all.  Or are you???

Jordana Brewster in Rebecca Taylor

Jordana Brewster attended the Rebecca Taylor Spring 2012 Fashion Show during the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City.  The Fast and Furious actress sat front-row….amongst a bevy of beauties….

Jordana wore a violet-blue floral printed dress with tiered sleeves and a tiered skirt from the Rebecca Taylor Fall 2011 Collection and Brian Atwood sandals.  When I first saw this dress on Jordana, I thought it was animal-print!  After more closely examining it, I realized that it was, in fact, floral print!   It is a great color for Jordana and I love the fact that she chose something so different from what she normally wears.

In addition to her lovely Rebecca Taylor dress, she carried a very colorful clutch:

 

Here is an assignment for ya:  Can anyone tell me who makes this multi-colored clutch that Jordana is carrying?
