LACMA 2012 Art + Film Gala: Florence Welch in Gucci

Verdict:  Amazing!  Typically I am not a huge fan of Florence and her wacky fashion, but this royal-blue-turned-purple Gucci gown is absolutely stunning!  The oversize sheer sleeves, the belt and the plunging neckline….it is all so fantastic!  And I mean, this color is so great with her red hair and light skin.  And the styling is really lovely, too….the romantic braided up-do, the chain headpiece and the yellow-gold diamond earrings add the perfect finishing touches.  The only thing I am not loving about this look is the rings on her fingers!  She is wearing too many, IMO.  I don’t like it when women wear rings on every finger….I feel like it looks a bit gaudy.  Other than that, though, I think Florence looks gorgeous!

2012 ALMA Awards: Zoe Saldana in Gucci

God, I love this girl.

Event:  2012 ALMA Awards, Los Angeles

Verdict:  Utterly chic.  I love this rose-pink Gucci dress on Zoe!  It is flirty and girly and pretty!  This color is absolutely gorgeous against her perfect skin…and I love the jeweled belt.  But the best part?  The open back!  It is super sexy without trying too hard.   A puffy ponytail, pink lips and dark nail polish complete this lovely look.  A+!

Gucci Premiere Fragrance Launch: Blake Lively in Gucci

Event:  Gucci Premiere Fragrance Launch, Venice, Italy

Verdict:  Well, Miss Long Legs has done it again!  Shown the world that a tiny cocktail dress is most certainly her signature look.  And deservedly so.  I can’t think of anyone else who looks quite as good in such a small dress.  This fully embellished burgundy Gucci mini-dress is beyond sexy.  And ultra-glamourous.  Blake looks absolutely gorgeous.  Strappy Gucci sandals, smoky eyes and a messy, pulled-back ‘do complete this chic and stylish look.  A+!

Venice Film Festival Photocall: Kate Hudson in Gucci

Event:  ‘The Reluctant Fundamentalist’ Photocall @ The Venice Film Festival, Venice, Italy

Verdict:  I really like this white double-breasted Gucci Resort 2012 suit on Kate.  The fit-and-flare pants are super flattering, although I feel that they are a bit too long.   I mean, I would love to see the Jimmy Choo’s that she is sporting under there!  The styling here is good, too….a simple tan-colored tank under the jacket keeps this look nice and clean.  Nothing too over-the-top.  Kate finished off this look with Bulgari jewelry and loose, wavy hair.  This is a different look for the actress, yes, but in a good way.  This suit is ultra chic, but Kate has still kept if feminine and pretty.  Love it!

‘Savages’ Premiere: Salma Hayek in Gucci

A true goddess in green….

Event:  ‘Savages’ Premiere, Los Angeles

Verdict:  I absolutely LOVE this fitted emerald-green Gucci gown on Salma!  The beading throughout the entire gown is so pretty….not to mention that it fits her body like a glove.  I really like it when Salma wears sexy gowns like this one, where she doesn’t flaunt her cleavage all over the place.  She looks sexy and classy….like a lady should.  This is one of my favorite looks I have seen on Salma in a long time!  Keep up the good work, Salma (or stylist!)!  I most certainly give this Gucci gown an A+!  Love it!
