MTV EMA’s 2012: Taylor Swift in J. Mendel

Event:  2012 MTV Europe Music Awards, Germany

Verdict:  WOW!  I really, really like this ivory silk chiffon embroidered J. Mendel gown on Taylor!  She looks amazing!  The tulle inserts at her hips are sexy, but she still looks really sophisticated and chic, too.  I love the cap sleeves and deep v-neck, also.  This is an absolutely beautiful dress, and because Taylor is so tall and slim, she really has the perfect figure to showcase it.  Smoky eyes and nude lips complete this feminine, pretty look.  I definitely give this an A+!  Love it!

2012 ESPY Awards: Maria Sharapova in J. Mendel

Angelic in cornflower blue….

Event:  2012 ESPY Awards, Los Angeles

Verdict:  AMAZING!  I think Maria looks outstanding in this cornflower blue J. Mendel gown!  I love everything about this gown: the color, the flowy fabric, the key-hole chest and especially the side cut-outs.  This is a great color on her.  A large cuff bracelet, light makeup and a teased up-do complete this gorgeous look.  I definitely give this look an A+!

‘Magic Mike’ Premiere: Jenna Dewan-Tatum in J. Mendel

Sexy in strapless red…..

Event:  ’Magic Mike’ Premiere, London

Verdict:  I love this strapless red wine-hued J. Mendel dress on Jenna!  She looks fabulous!  The sweetheart neckline is both pretty and flattering on her lovely figure….and the geometric design of the fabric adds some understated edge to the overall look of this outfit.  She completed her look with red lips, lots of curls and pointy-toe Christian Louboutin pumps.  I really like everything about this.  Jenna gets an A from me!  :)

84th Annual Academy Awards: Kristen Wiig in J. Mendel

Verdict:  I think Kristen looks very pretty.  This gown looks incredibly soft and feminine.  And I must say…while I do like the nude color, I am thinking it might’ve been a bit better in a different color….perhaps black?  Black would have definitely been more striking and a bit dressier looking.  Can’t complain too much, though!  Kristen looks gorgeous…nude colored gown or not.  Loose curls and natural makeup complete her look.

Costume Designers Guild Awards: Rooney Mara in J. Mendel

Plum-colored dress and dark, dark lips…..

Event:  14th Annual Costume Designers Guild Awards, Beverly Hills

Verdict:  I really like this J. Mendel dress on Rooney.  The bouncy-ness of the skirt makes it really girly and the deep v-neck makes it ultra sexy.  And I love the color on her!  I am even okay with her dark lipstick.  I mean, I don’t love it, but I think it looks okay.  I am not crazy about her hair slicked back, yet again, but she still looks gorgeous.  I just love her!
