Gettin’ ready a go go….

Good morning!  It is approximately 6:30 am and I have been up since 5 am….and I am still not packed for our week-long trip to Chicago/Wisconsin.  This sums up how I am feeling right about now….

 

And…..

 

Lovely, just lovely.  I hate packing SO FREAKING MUCH!  I simply CANNOT decide what to pack, so I completely over-pack.  And every time I take a trip anywhere that requires use of a suitcase, I tell myself “not this time.  I will not pack 20 pairs of shoes and 10 extra outfits.”  And guess what?  History just keeps on repeatin’ itself!  I almost always end up with a 50-pound bag.  There must be something wrong with me.  I have an aversion to packing.  It is a disease, I know it!

I am totally channeling Snooki right now…..

Waaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

 

Okay, so I guess it isn’t quite that bad.  But still, I really do hate packing.  Now I must leave you….to go tackle my suitcase and show it WHO IS THE BOSS!!!

Snooki gets cray-cray!

A couple of weekends ago Snooki hosted a pool party at Wet Republic in Las Vegas. 

 

 

Before I say anything, let me say this:  I really like Snooki.  And I really like Jersey Shore.  Buuuuut, she does look pretty ridiculous in the above photos!  It is almost like she doesn’t want people to take her seriously….yet I know she has serious aspirations of being a legit businesswoman.  Not gonna happen lookin’ (and behaving) like that! 

This photo made me smile, though, because it reminds me of myself…a little bit…

 

I take my camera with me everywhere.  (Literally!)  And I am constantly asking Kyle Thomas (and others!) to take my picture.  So I can totally relate to this picture!  

And guess who stopped by Snooki’s pool party? 

 

Holly Madison!  Lucky Snooki!  Everyone wants to hang out and party with Holly!  *insert very jealous, very sad face here*

Oh wells!  Maybe someday I will get to party with Holly!  *fingers crossed*  I hope everyone has a great day!

Snooki: Her VMA style

Jersey Shore queen bee Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi brought a bit of Jersey with her to the MTV VMA’s!  And I can’t decide if I love it or hate it:

 

For a Snooki outfit, I think I kinda like it!  (Don’t judge me!)  Let me reiterate that:  I like it for Snooki!  On anyone else I would probably hate it, but for her, this is probably one of her better looks.  Obviously the dress is quite gaudy and she has way too much cleavage, but it suits her.  And I like her gold closed-toe platform pumps.  I think they’re cute.   The one thing I really hate?!   Her nails! 

 

Saturday morning Snooki posted this photo of her nails on Twitter accompanied with this phrase:  #vma swag. 

 Hmmm, giant square nails just aren’t my thang!  But, back to her VMA dress selection.  Snooki is exempt from a VMA grade, due to the fact that she just doesn’t fit in with normal fashion trends.  I don’t think it is in her genes to wear anything feminine, pretty or stylish.  She is from Jersey, baby!  It is all about being loud (and proud!) with bold nails and out-there clothes!

Jersey Shore’s Deena: Rainbow dress mess

Oh lord.  My stomach hurts just looking at this dress….

This could be the most H-I-D-E-O-U-S dress I have ever seen.  It is really awful.  She kind of looks like a slutty Rainbow Bright with that dress and ratted hair.  Ugh.  Don’t get me wrong, I love me some Jersey Shore, and the show just wouldn’t be the same without this self-proclaimed “blast-in-a-glass”, but this dress is a little much.  Even for the Jersey Shore.   VMA grade: F

Kendra and Holly

Former Girl Next Door Kendra Wilkinson hosted a party at the MGM Grand pool Wet Republic in Las Vegas this weekend.  In attendance? Former GND co-star and Holly’s World frontwoman Holly Madison!

 

The ladies kept cool in the Las Vegas heat by chillin’ by the pool with refreshing beverages in hand!  Looks like Kendra had quite a fun time interacting with her fans….

 

Vegas always has all the best pool parties!   With the perfect weather to host ‘em!  ;)  

Gotta get ready now to watch a brand-new episode of Jersey Shore and then the Video Music Awards on MTV!  Yay!  I can’t wait to see what (and who) all the stars are wearing!  Hope everyone has a nice, relaxing Sunday evening!
