‘Total Recall’ Photocall: Jessica Biel in Christian Cota

Event:  ‘Total Recall’ Photocall, Berlin

Verdict:  Well, this look is not my favorite.  In fact, I don’t really like anything about it.  I don’t care for the color palette, I don’t like the way this Christian Cota dress fits Jessica and I definitely do not like her hair and makeup!  I will say this: I like her Brian Atwood sandals!  They are super cute and a really cool color….but I am just not feelin’ the rest of this ensemble!

And I do think the runway version of this dress is cute.  See it on the model….

 

See what I mean?  It looks completely different (better!) on the model.

Hollywood Foreign Press Association Luncheon: Kerry Washington in Christian Dior

Event:  Hollywood Foreign Press Association Luncheon, Los Angeles

Verdict:  I love this!  Kerry looks fantastic!  This Christian Dior dress is so freaking cute!  I really, really like it.  It is so girly and playful and fun with the color, the silhouette and the voluminous skirt!  She accessorized with nude Christian Louboutin ’Pigalle’ pumps, which are a little boring, but the dress is lively enough where she can get away with a more reserved shoe.  Curly locks and bright pink lips complete this look.  This is a great dress and Kerry is perfectly dressed for an afternoon luncheon!  A+!

P.S.  Remember when Jessica Biel wore this same dress??

While I am not a huge fan of Jessica Biel’s work, I can certainly appreciate a beautiful photo.  I love this Emilio Pucci gown: the long sleeves, the embroidered ‘rips’ in the fabric….everything.  And the styling here is gorgeous, too.  I love her thick bangs, side-braid, nail polish and jewelry.  It is perfect.  A seriously stunning photo.

2012 ESPY Awards: Jessica Biel in Christian Dior

Finally!  Not wearing an old lady-ish dress….

Designer:  Christian Dior (dress), Nicholas Kirkwood for Roksanda Ilincic (pumps)

Event:  2012 ESPY Awards, Los Angeles

Verdict:  I actually really like this white Christian Dior dress on Jessica!  It makes me so happy to see her wearing something age-appropriate!  It seems that she normally goes for grandma-inspired dresses….but not here!  This mini dress with bell-shaped skirt is not only youthful, but it is super cute and fun (two qualities that Jessica definitely needs to embrace…being cute and fun)!  Aaaand I absolutely LOVE her white Nicholas Kirkwood for Roksanda Ilincic pumps!  The neon heel is awesome!  Love ‘em!  Here is what normally gets me (mad) about Jessica:  she is young, pretty, successful, has a rockin’ bod, has a rockin’ fiancé….yet she always comes across as the biggest party poop, IMO.  I want her to come out of her shell and act her age!  Jessica, if you are reading this, YOU ARE A FAMOUS MOVIE STAR. LIVE A LITTLE.  IT’S OKAY TO PARTY ONCE IN AWHILE.  Words of wisdom right there.  You’re welcome.

6th Annual Charity Ball: Jessica Biel in Valentino

Jessica Biel walked the red carpet at the 6th Annual Charity: Ball benefiting charity: water at the 69th Regiment Armory in New York earlier this week….

Jessica chose a black lace gown with tiered skirt by Valentino and paired with it black onyx earrings, a black satin clutch and a matching cuff.  While some of you may say no, I think this is a gorgeous dress!  I really like it!  And I think it looks fabulous on Jessica!  And I am definitely loving her new darker locks!   I think she really looks pretty and very stylish (and that is a lot coming from me since I am certainly not Jessica’s biggest fan!)
