My Casual Style: Green & Pink!

My personal style changes frequently, I think.  Style really is a reflection of ones personality, and while my personality never changes, I definitely go through different fashion phases.  I love all things girly, cutesy, flirty….but I also like to get in touch with my more edgy side: tall heels, dark makeup and super-sexy dresses.  I am not sure why, but I certainly have more trouble showing that side of myself.

Which is why I love outfits like this one:  (cute and casual and fun!)

My favorites: pink, green, black & white

Outfit Features:

  • Original Penguin Wittfield Solid Shorts $65
  • Sperry Top-Sider Women’s Original Canvas Shoe $70
  • Juicy Couture Sunshine Stripe Hoodie $118
  • Bakers Jayden Pink Sunglasses $10
  • Karl Judit Racer-back Jersey Tank $95
  • Juicy Couture Starter Charm Bracelet $58
  • Essie Nail Polish $8

What do you think of this outfit?  Is it something you would wear?  Yay or nay?  And remember, check me out on Polyvore!! :)

Okay, so this isn’t really a tutu, but it is in the tutu family….sort of….

I know. this is ridiculous.

Juicy Couture: juicy sale

My number one rule on department store sale promotions:

DO NOT BUY AN ITEM ON SALE IF YOU WOULD NOT PAY FULL PRICE FOR THAT VERY SAME ITEM.

Follow that rule, and you cannot go wrong.  When it comes to fashion, anyway.  Back to the topic on hand:  Juicy Couture.  I used to be a big fan of the brand, and I still am, although I don’t wear it as much anymore.  I feel like I have outgrown wearing Juicy Couture, for some reason.  A velour track suit on a thirty year old somehow just doesn’t seem appropriate.  Know what I mean?

I am, however, very much into Juicy shoes.  Whilst browsing the ‘net this morning I stumbled upon this lovely little shoe:

Welcome to the Damsel Glitter Heel by Juicy Couture.  Retail price is $275.  Not bad for a pair of heels.  I certainly own a pair or two (or three) that cost significantly more than that and I think this shoe is super-cute!  This shoe features a 3 inch stacked heel on full platform and peep-toe…and it is designed by Erin Fetherston!

And guess what?!  These heels are on sale for $99.99 at the Juicy Couture online boutique!  (www.juicycouture.com)  Now that, my friends, is a great deal.  Bargain shopping at it’s best: finding something that you would pay full-price for, at a hugely discounted rate!   Score!  *giving myself a little pat on the back*

Happy Shopping, kiddies!
