2012 Emmy Awards: Julianne Hough in Georges Hobeika Couture

Verdict: I think this sparkly turquoise and silver Georges Hobeika Couture dress is gorgeous. I love the sweetheart neckline and the mermaid shape is super sexy! Buuuut, what I don’t understand about this look? Her hair! It is absolutely horrendous! When I saw her on the red carpet I couldn’t even concentrate on the loveliness of this dress….all I could think about was how much I hated her hair. I mean, it is awful. Obviously. Unfortunately for Julianne, this look is ruined with this hairstyle. For me anyway. Great dress, pretty makeup….but the hair….ugh.

‘Rock of Ages’ Premiere: Julianne Hough in Valentino

Ahhh, black and white. Always one of my favorite combinations…..

Event: ‘Rock of Ages’ Premiere, London

Verdict: I like this black and white Valentino dress on Julianne. While it isn’t my favorite thing that I’ve seen her wear, I still think she looks really pretty. I love black and white for any red carpet/formal event, and this look is no exception. She looks sophisticated and polished…..very lovely. And I actually really like the puffy sleeves with the polka-dot pattern! A teased hairdo, thin black headband and peep-toe black pumps complete this chic look.

People’s Choice Nominations: Julianne Hough in Luca Luca

Julianne Hough was in Beverly Hills a couple of days ago for the 2012 People’s Choice Award Nominations….

Julianne wore a lovely white jacket and skirt from the Luca Luca Spring 2012 Collection and paired it with nude Christian Louboutin pumps. I like this! Although this is very loosely menswear-inspired, it is still feminine and flirty! Julianne looks very pretty and I love her sleek new ’do! What a doll! The verdict is this: Julianne is a vision in white!

‘Footloose’ Premiere: Julianne Hough in Tibi

Last night Julianne Hough attended the Los Angeles premiere of her new dance flick ‘Footloose’ looking ravishing in red….

Julianne chose a red organza top that features sheer sleeves and fabric gathered at the neck. She paired her long-sleeved blouse with high-waisted shorts of the same color. Both pieces are from the Tibi Fall 2011 Collection. I love this red blouse and shorts combo on Julianne! She looks great! But, alas, there is something I don’t care for: her shoes. Her choice of shoe is devastating to me. I don’t like the nude pointy-toe pumps she paired with this vibrant red! Because of the loud color, the side-swept hair and the gathered neckline, I am glad that Julianne kept her accessories to a minimum, wearing simple gold hoop earrings and a cocktail ring. But she could’ve really rocked some amazing shoes! Something with a platform…something with a peeptoe…anything would have been better than plain nude pumps. Too bland for me! Other than that, though, I really like the outfit! Very pretty! And I just really like Julianne!

Which version do you prefer? I love them both! (Except Julianne’s shoes!) This is something I could definitely see myself wearing! And I cannot wait to see the movie! Can you believe that I’ve never seen the original ‘Footloose’ from 1984?! That may have to change very soon…..
