‘Spring Breakers’ Premiere: Vanessa Hudgens in Julien Macdonald

Verdict:  Yuck.  I DO NOT like this red halter gown on Vanessa.  The mirror-like embellishments are sorta tacky looking, IMO.  And this is something that I almost never say: I hate the shoes.  Actually, aside from Vanessa’s makeup, I pretty much loathe everything about this look.  I will say this, however…..I am really glad she didn’t wear a bunch of gawdy jewelry!  That would’ve made this already undesirable ensemble that much worse!  And I think Vanessa is super cute, and I really feel like deep-down she has some fashion potential.  Now, she just needs the right stylist to channel it!  I will be patiently waiting…. ;)

Glamour Women of the Year Awards: Jessie J in Julien Macdonald

This is sort of LBD with a flapper twist….and I like it….

Event:  2012 Glamour Women of the Year Awards, London

Verdict:  I really like this black, fringe-y Julien Macdonald dress on Jessie!  I think it is so pretty, and it really reminds me of a flapper dress….which I LOVE!  If this were anyone else, I might say that her slicked back hair, thick black eye makeup and clunky shoes are just too heavy for this playful dress, but for whatever reason, on Jessie it works.  I like this look on her.  It suits her….and it looks a million times better than some of the stuff I’ve seen her in.    This is ultra sexy and chic!  I give this an A! (She just needs to smile!)

54th Annual GRAMMY Awards: Jessie J in Julien Macdonald

OH MY WORD! Have some metallic shimmer….

Event:  54th Annual GRAMMY Awards, Los Angeles

Verdict:  I freaking LOVE this Julien Macdonald dress!  The metallic-y look of it is soooo gorgeous!  I love the thick straps and mermaid-style skirt.  Not to mention how it literally looks like liquid metal.   Love it.  So different, yet so fantastic.  I am not crazy about her harsh eye makeup, though.  This dress is very bold, very sharp.  I feel like her makeup would’ve been more appropriate had it been a bit softer.  And the same goes for her hair.  I like it, but a softer look might’ve been better.  Buuuut, as I said….I LOVE THE DRESS.

Justin Bieber and his Selena Gomez

Oh. My. Gawd.  Words simply cannot express the amount of distaste I have for the one they call Justin Bieber.  Seriously, I know he is just a kid, but I think I hate him.

What a disgusting outfit.  I hate all of it.  Every single article of clothing to every last accessory.  And especially the snake.  What an idiot.  He looks ridiculous!  And the even bigger problem here:  What the eff is Selena Gomez thinking dating this kid?!  She is waaaay too pretty for the Biebster!  She must be brainwashed….just like all the other freakazoids who love him.  Insanity.

I am not really digging this gown, either.  I don’t like the long train on this black, lacy Julien Macdonald gown.   I do, however, like her gold Brian Atwood heels.  Those are nice.  Don’t much care for her hairdo….maybe she and Miley teamed up and decided “what the heck! The VMA’s are a good place to wear our hair in old-lady buns!”
