Celeb:  Katy Perry

Event:  2013 ASCAP ‘I Create Music’ Expo, Hollywood

Verdict:  Well, when I first saw Katy in this cellular phone print Suno sheath dress my immediate reaction was: ew, hideous.  But the more I looked at it, the more it started to grown on me.  I mean, obviously this is a crazy print, but Katy is funky and quirky and I think she sort of pulls it off.  I would never wear this dress.  In fact, if I tried to wear this dress I would look ridiculous…..and so would most people.  But Katy on the other hand, she can wear it.  Now, with that being said, I don’t love this Suno dress.  I really don’t even like it, but Katy can do it.  She is probably the only person that can wear this dress and look….appropriate.  It totally suits her personality (or what I think her personality would be!).   I don’t like the Aldo sandals, though.  I think a sandal with more of a wedge would’ve been better so her legs would look longer.  Plus, I don’t like the metallic hardware…..I feel like the hardware on the sandals is trying to compete with the print on the dress for attention….and the dress wins.   Pretty, soft hair and minimal makeup complete this look.
