Late Show with David Letterman: Krysten Ritter in Reem Acra

Verdict:  I love this emerald-green Reem Acra dress on Krysten!  She looks stunning!  The details on this dress are great, too: the floral sleeves and the knotted waist are so simply and pretty.  And I love that she paired animal-print Jimmy Choo pumps with this dress!  This look is classic and chic, but the animal print shoes and red lips add an unexpected twist!  Krysten is absolutely adorable!  I love this whole ensemble!  A+!

‘Late Show with David Letterman’: Blake Lively in Marchesa

Another successful outfit selection by Blake (or her stylist, probably)….

 

Celeb:  Blake Lively

Designer:  Marchesa (dress), Christian Louboutin (pumps)

Event:  ‘Late Show with David Letterman’, New York

Verdict:  I think this ivory Marchesa cape dress with the  embellished shoulder detail is pretty!  Blake looks polished and ladylike, but still sexy.  This look is a bit more conservative for Blake, but like I said, she still looks lovely.  And I love how her crystal encrusted Louboutin pumps compliment the shoulder-detail on her dress.  A side-swept ‘do and miminal makeup complete this gorgeous look.  Another A for Ms. Lively.

Two Dresses, One Day: Chloe Grace Moretz

Adorable actress Chloe Grace Moretz was in New York City the other day: first she visited David Letterman and then attended the screening of her new film ‘Hick.’  At both events she was lookin’ fab in two gorgeous dresses….

Verdict:  I absolutely love this Christopher Kane dress on Chloe.  I love the blue, black and gray animal print and the leather detail at the collar, waist and bottom hem adds a super-edgy, super-chic touch!  So pretty!  And I love her hair and makeup, too.  Perfect!  Hard to believe this girl is only 15 years old, right?!

Next up:  Flower power….

'Hick' screening

Designer:  Dolce & Gabbana (dress), Jimmy Choo (heels)

Verdict:  I also really like this dress on Chloe!  It is feminine and pretty, yet still flirty and playful! And notice that the Jimmy Choo sandals that she is wearing are the same ones from her earlier outfit…just in a different color!   Another A+ look from the young actress!  I love it!

What do you think?  Do you like Chloe in the animal print Christopher Kane dress and the floral Dolce & Gabbana?  Which dress do you like better?  This is a hard choice for me, but if I am forced to pick just one, I think I like the Christopher Kane dress just a little bit better!  They are both great, but I really like the mix of the animal print and leather!  Now that you’ve heard my choice, which dress do you like better?

Late Show: Irina Shayk in Roland Mouret

Verdict: H-O-T!!!  Irina looks smokin’ in this mustard yellow Roland Mouret mini-dress!  And I love her accessories: the deep-green earrings, pink cocktail ring and dark plum-colored platform sandals.  She looks super sexy!  This is a great color against her skin tone, too.  Love it!

Late Show with David Letterman: Sarah Michelle Gellar in Haute Hippie

SMG looks like she is ready to party with Dave….

Event:  Late Show with David Letterman, New York City

Verdict:  I love this Haute Hippie dress!  I think it is completely adorable!  I love all of the metallic embroidery and the tiered skirt is totally cute!  And I especially love Sarah’s black platform peep-toe Louboutin’s.  But, as much as I love the dress and the shoes, I have to say…I am not really feelin’ the little cropped jacket.  I mean, I think it’s cute, but I don’t really like it paired with this dress.  The dress is super-sweet, and doesn’t need anything worn on top of it.  It needs to stand alone, IMO.
