‘American Reunion’ Madrid Photocall: Mena Suvari in Tadashi Shoji

Verdict:  Gorgeous!  I think this red and black embroidered cocktail dress is so beautiful!  I especially like the tiered skirt and 0ff-the-shoulder neckline!  So pretty.  This dress is the perfect mix of sexy and classy….I really love it!  In fact, I want it for myself!  ;)   Mena’s blonde bob and light, minimal makeup provide lovely finishing touches to this already fantastic look.  Definitely an A+

‘The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo’ Madrid Premiere: Rooney Mara in Rodarte

Rooney Mara attended the Madrid premiere of her film ‘The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo’ held at the Callao Theatre Wednesday evening (January 4th)….

 

Rooney wore a black and white silk chiffon gown from the Rodarte Fall 2011 RTW Collection that features polka dots and a black bow at the waist. She accessorized with Givenchy heels and a sleek, pulled-back hairdo.

Well, I think this Rodarte dress is totally fab!  I love it!  Rooney looks fantastic!  I love how versatile she can be!   One minute she is channeling her TGWTDT character Lisbeth, the next minute she is touching on a much softer, almost Audrey Hepburn-like note.  She is très chic!   ;)

‘Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol’ Madrid Premiere: Paula Patton in Dolce & Gabbana

Paula Patton walked the red carpet at the Madrid premiere of ‘Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol’ a couple of days ago….

Paula chose a leopard print purple and black strapless gown by Dolce & Gabbana and accessorized with 14k diamond and purple amethyst earrings by Amrapali. She completed her look with lavender eyeshadow and pretty pink lips.

I have to say, I have mixed feelings about this purple leopard print dress.  The dress itself is pretty, but it sorta reminds me of bad lingerie in the form of a dress.  Know what I mean?  Overall, Paula looks lovely…this dress is very fun!  But I am not 100% sold on it, either.  Her hair and makeup are both flawless, though!

Breaking Dawn Premiere: Nikki Reed in Topshop

Actress Nikki Reed was in Madrid earlier this week for the ‘Breaking Dawn-Part 1′ premiere:

 

Yay or nay?  I can’t decide….

The Twilight actress chose a cotton and chiffon polka dot dress by Topshop and paired it with black strappy sandals.  Polka dots are very popular on the red carpet this season….but I simply cannot decide how I feel about this dress on Nikki.  I feel like it looks a little too small for her….it looks like it is pulling a bit through her middle.  Other than that….I think I like it!  I mean, it isn’t the greatest dress in the world, but it is cute.  She looks cute.  And I really like her hair, makeup and shoes. 

One more thing…..she needs to polish her nails!  And toenails!  Sheesh…..

Saturday Morning Goth

Taylor Momsen is at it again!  The Pretty Reckless singer was on stage in her goth-stripper garb at a performance last week in Madrid.  This girl needs some serious parental supervision.  Stat. 

 

I really loathe those long, stringy braids.  So hideous, IMO.

 

 

 

She totally reminds me of a character on Guitar Hero or Rock Band!  When Ky-Ky and I play, we design our girl characters to look very similar to Taylor…not intentionally of course…

I have to go get ready for work, so this post is about to come to a close.  But everyone knows how I feel about Taylor’s “look.”  I think it is inappropriate for a girl her age, and I think she is heading in the wrong direction.  She is too young to be out partying and drinking with no rules or consequences in her life.  She has plenty of time for that stuff.  No need to rush!  I just hope nothing bad happens to her and that she doesn’t end up in rehab….over and over again without success….like so many other young stars.  *fingers crossed*
