Coach’s Summer Party on the High Line: Jessica Stam in Versus

A pop of pink makes everything better….

Event:  Coach’s Summer Party on the High Line, New York City

Verdict:  I think Jessica looks super cute in this short-sleeved stretch jersey Versus dress!  It is very fun and youthful….and I love the black, white and pink pattern.  I also really love the pop of pink in the form of her Coach bag!   This bag screams “I am ready for summer!”  And I love it!  Now….what I don’t love.  Those shoes.  They’re big and clunky and ugly.  I don’t like them.  I see where she is maybe trying to keep this outfit a bit more casual by not wearing heels, but come on, those are hideous.  And they certainly don’t go with the feminine, girly feel of the rest of her outfit.  Bright orange nails (which I like!) and a braided up-do (which I don’t like!) complete this summery ensemble.

P.S.  Minka Kelly wore this exact same dress to an event for GQ last November…..

 

 

Jessica kept it more casual, while Minka dressed it up a bit with patent black pumps.  Who do you think wore it better?  Jessica or Minka?

Valentino Rodeo Drive Flagship Store Opening: Minka Kelly in Valentino

I am pretty sure ‘Minka’ translates to ‘always gorgeous’ in some other language….

Celeb:  Mink Kelly

Designer:  Valentino

Event:  Valentino Rodeo Drive Flagship Store Opening, Los Angeles

Verdict:  I think Minka looks awesome!  I think some of you may not like this look due to the long sleeves and nude color paired with the dark pumps.  But I say yes!  I like it all!  While the color of the dress is very light, I think it looks really pretty with her dark hair.  I mean, lets face it:  she is stunning no matter what she wears.  She is beautiful.  Period.  But back to the dress:  I like it….long sleeves and all.  And I like the black pumps, too.

Minka Kelly in Salvatore Ferragamo

Minka Kelly looked gorgeous on her way to tape her segment of David Letteman’s ‘The Late Show’ earlier this week in New York City:

 

 

 

Minka looked lovely in a curve hugging silver halter dress by Salvatore Ferragamo and taupe colored patent heels.  This woman is so beautiful….what the heck is wrong with Derek Jeter?!?  When asked about her split with the New York Yankee baseball player, Minka kept it on the up and up saying, “He is a tremendous guy.” 

Minka’s new show, ‘Charlie’s Angels’ premieres this evening on ABC!

The Emmys: Minka Kelly in Christian Dior

Minka Kelly was one of the few stars at the Emmys that I just couldn’t figure out.  I mean, in regards to her choice of gown, that is. 

Minka chose a dress from Christian Dior’s Pre-Fall 2011 Collection.  Lots of navy and lace, with a tiered skirt!  At first, I did not like this dress.  I didn’t like that she chose something with long sleeves.  But then it kinda grew on me.  I think it is pretty, in a retro-glam kinda way.  I mean, naturally I would’ve like to see Minka in something a bit more hip, something younger, something not so doily-like, but this is okay with me.  Obviously she is such a beautiful woman, she really looks gorgeous in everything she puts on! 

I am having a difficult time grading this Christian Dior on Minka.  I want to give her a C because I don’t love it, but I do feel it is better than average.  So….

Minka’s Christian Dior Emmy grade:  B

Minka Kelly, yes please!

Normally I am not a fan of suede.  But Minka Kelly is wearing what appears to be suede heels and carrying a suede clutch and I like both!  Or maybe I just like her….she can pretty much wear whatever and look fantastic….

 

 

There isn’t anything too special about this dress, but Minka looks great anyway!  Black always looks classy!  Her accessories dress it up! 

 

What a babe!  I want Minka to be my girlfriend!  Just kiddin’….
