Katy Perry was at The Grove in Los Angeles Thursday morning for the launch of her new fragrance ‘Meow!’….
The singer chose a fitted pink satin dress with black bow and grosgrain waistband from the Moschino Fall 2011 Collection and paired it with studded Valentino peep-toe pumps.
I adore this dress on Katy! I think she looks absolutely stunning! This Moschino dress fits her perfectly! I love that this is a totally “girl” dress-with the pink satin and the big bow-and then you see her shoes…and they are a perfect contrast! The studs on her Valentino pumps add just the right amount of edginess! Seriously, this might be one of my favorite dresses that Katy has worn recently! And I really, really like her new short hair, too! It is a refreshing change!
What do you think? Do you like this Moschino dress on Katy as much as I do? Yay or nay?
British lovely Felicity Jones hit the red carpet for the BAFTA Los Angeles 2011 Britannia Awards Wednesday night at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles….
The actress chose a black strapless tulle gown with embellished bodice and full skirt from the Moschino Resort 2012 Collection and kept her accessories to a minimum by wearing very little jewelry, hair pulled back and simple makeup.
I think Felicity looks stunning! Very feminine and very pretty. This dress is basic in cut, shape and color, but Felicity really makes it shine. She is simply gorgeous….and this dress just showcases her classic good-looks.
What do you think? Do you like this sparkly tulle Moschino gown on Felicity? Love it? Loathe it?
English actress Keira Knightley was at the Toronto Film Festival several weeks ago and during her time there she did a press conference for her new movie ‘A Dangerous Method’….
Keira chose a floral-print button-up dress from the Moschino Cheap & Chic Resort 2012 Collection. This dress features several different shades of pink, accented with blue, has a cinched waist with matching belt and ruffled collar. The actress paired her flowery dress with nude patent leather platform pumps.
This dress is super-girly and I like it on Keira! It is very pretty and soft and feminine, and I could see myself wearing this dress! The only thing I am not crazy about is her choice of shoe. Check out the model in the look book, as compared to Keira:
I really like the colorful heels that the model is wearing! Although the dress is pretty busy and very colorful, I think the blue, pink and black platform heels really add a nice amount of pizzaz to this outfit! Very chic!
What do you think? Love it? Loathe it? Somewhere in the middle?
This past weekend in Las Vegas the MGM Grand hosted the iHeartRadio Music Festival. Lady Gaga was in attendance looking quite chic….
Lady G wore a black crepe peplum dress with a bow at the waist from the Moschino Fall 2011 Collection with black platform pumps. As soon as I saw this Moschino on Gaga, I immediately thought “Audrey Hepburn!” Typically I would never even say Lady Gaga and Audrey Hepburn in the same sentence, as Gaga’s fashion choices are usually waaaay out there! But she cleans up very nicely, and I like her like this! Looking a bit more normal! Very pretty! She accessorized her ‘Audrey in Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ look with Fendi sunglasses, black opera gloves and lots of diamonds! She looks chic and sophisticated! I think Audrey would be quite pleased! I know I am!
What do you think? Do you like Lady Gaga in this black Moschino dress? Or do you prefer the wild and crazy antics of Lady G’s usual couture?
Britney Spears wore a black, sort of zig-zag patterned Moschino romper with opened-toed black patent leather boots Sunday night to the VMA’s. And she looked DEAD ON GORGEOUS!
So sexy! And again, perfect outfit selection for the MTV VMA’s! Not necessary to try to get too fancy! This outfit is fun and it is definitely flattering on Britney! And she looks happy, finally! The only thing I didn’t like? Britney’s acceptance speech! She was awarded the Michael Jackson Vanguard Award, which is basically the VMA’s lifetime achievement award. So as she is accepting her award from the awkwardly dressed in drag Gaga, she reads her speech from a teleprompter! Here is what Brit had to say (or read, rather):
“This award means so much to me, especially on the night before Michael Jackson’s birthday. He had such a huge influence on me, Gaga, and our next performer, Beyonce. Beyonce and I started out around the same time, and just like all of her fans, I fell in love with her. The first time I saw her from her singing to dancing to acting, she can do it all, she’s a triple threat, and one of the most talented people I have ever seen.”
It’s like, HELLO! This is not about Beyonce! This is not a tribute to Beyonce! Okay, okay, Beyonce is fab, but this is about Britney and her lifetime achievement as a pop superstar! Doi! Needless to say, I was less-than-impressed by Britney’s teleprompter-driven speech. Oh wells. It is all over now. At least she looked good, right?! Britney’s VMA grade (based only on her Moschino romper): A
How would you grade Britney in her black romper and open-toed platform boots?
