‘New Year’s Eve’ Premiere: Jessica Biel in Valentino

Jessica Biel attended the red carpet premiere of ‘New Year’s Eve’ in New York a couple of days ago…..

Jessica chose a long-sleeved fully embellished Valentino gown and opted for minimal makeup and soft, flowing locks.  For the first time in quite a while, I am really impressed with Jessica and her red carpet couture!  I think she looks dazzling in this Valentino dress!  I actually love it!  She looks classy and very glamorous!  And I am so happy that she didn’t try to do a red lip with this….her nude lip color is perfect, IMO!

‘The Ides of March’ Premiere: Evan Rachel Wood in Gucci

Evan Rachel Wood attended the New York premiere of her new film ‘The Ides of March’ wearing leather….

The actress chose a Gucci leather dress from the Fall 2011 Collection.  The merlot colored dress features a scarf at the neck and a belt around the waist.  Evan paired it with a Gucci hat that was seen several times  on the runway and matching croc pumps.

I am really not a fan of any part of this look.  I don’t care for the dress, the hat or the pumps.  Sorry, I just don’t like it.

Toronto Film Festival: Freida Pinto in Valentino

Indian actress Freida Pinto attended the Toronto Film Festival for the premiere of her new film ‘Trishna’….

 

 

 

Freida chose a blush-toned sequined halter neck dress from the Valentino Resort 2012 Collection and accessorized with studded peep-toe Jimmy Choo heels (Ahhh, I die!) and a gold Roger Vivier clutch.  Gorgeous!  The dress is simply lovely and the studded heels add a bit of edge to balance out the look.  Freida looks stunning and sexy!

Love her up-do and soft makeup, as well.

Lily Collins in Marc Jacobs

Actress Lily Collins was at the ‘Abduction’ premiere in Hollywood wearing a dress from Marc Jacobs Fall 2011  Collection:

 

 

 

Lily styled her Marc Jacobs dress with red platform Brian Atwood pumps, a Christian Louboutin clutch and a Van Cleef & Arpels bracelet.  I have to say, I am not sure how I feel about this dress on Lily.  I don’t love it, that’s for sure.  I very much prefer the runway version….

 

 

I prefer the styling on the runway version, I guess.  I don’t care for Lily’s hair, either.  I am not a fan of her short, seemingly choppy bangs.  I like her hair better long, wavy and tousled….

 

Or even loosely pulled back….

 

She is a very lovely girl!  Not loving her in the black and white Marc Jacobs, though.  What do you think?  Do you like Lily in the black and white floral patterned Marc Jacobs?  Or do you prefer the runway version of the dress?   Ah, decisions decisions!  ;)

Lake Bell likes a good old fashioned orgy

Actress (and star of the wildly funny web series Children’s Hospital!) Lake Bell stepped out in Hollywood at the Lexington Social House to attend the premiere of A Good Old Fashioned Orgy. 

Yes it is a movie.  The cast includes Jason Sudeikis and Leslie Bibb.  It is about a group of friends who decide to throw an end of summer orgy!  Sounds funny! 

But lets talk about this dress she chose for the movie premiere.  I don’t think I really like it.  Lake is really thin (in a good way!) and looks really good in her clothes!  This dress is no exception.  She looks good in it, I just don’t care for it.  I am not a fan of  cut-outs or strappy fabric on top.  And I actually don’t really care for her shoes, either.  (Weird, right?!)  Aaaaand to finish it off, I don’t like her hair!  She has really gorgeous hair, and I think it kinda looks ratty and messy (not in a good way!). 

What do you think of Lake’s strappy black dress?  Yay or nay?
