Celeb: Zoe Saldana
Designer: Michael Kors (skirt, top, clutch & booties)
Event: Front Row @ Michael Kors Fall 2013, New York Fashion Week
Verdict: Ahhhh! I love Zoe! And I love this bright pink top and skirt combo on her! It is perfect for sitting front row at a fashion show: she looks pretty and polished, but also comfortable…not too stiff and business-like. A Michael Kors ‘Monroe’ clutch and black peep-toe booties provided perfect accessories, while loose curls and nude lips completed the entire look. Zoe always looks great and I really like this. A+!
What do you think? Do you like this head-to-toe Michael Kors ensemble on Zoe? Love it or loathe it? Yay or nay?
Although I did not physically attend New York Fashion Week, I feel as though I was there in spirit! I have spent countless hours oohing and aahing into my computer screen, checking out all of the Fall and Spring 2011-2012 Collections. Some of my favorites include:
I really like the bold use of gold and black, and I am especially fond of the flapper-esque feel! This Gucci collection is very 1920′s glam!
This Jason Wu Collection is fun and girly and just the right amount of flirty! Love it! Very wearable, too!
Ralph Lauren is an American icon. Seriously! I love the dresses in this collection! They are edgy, yet sexy, and completely classy at the same time.
Wow! The body-hugging silhouettes paired with the fringe and shine makes these Herve Leger dresses instantly lust-worthy!
The Jill Stuart Collection is a bit more toned down compared to those of the other designers. But it is still very feminine and pretty and I like the mix of pastels with the bold red. It is very different from anything else, yet I could see myself wearing these very outfits!
What do you think? Who were your favorite designers at New York Fashion Week? Did anyone specifically stand out in your mind?
Now, this is a photo from way back in the day….May 2010 to be exact….but I still love this Proenza Schouler look on Sarah Jessica Parker!
This blue v-neck, bubble hem dress is from the Proenza Schouler Fall 2010 Collection, so it is a year old. But it still looks good one year later! And people (celebs) are still wearing it! I think the pieces that SJP paired with it are fab-the light pink and black blazer, the white bag and the silver necklaces-they look amazing! But definitely her best accessory?! Her blue and fuchsia lace-up Nicholas Kirkwood suede platforms! Those heels are killer!! Perfectly paired with this ensemble! I am in love!
And guess what? TV host Alexa Chung was spotted at Proenza Schouler’s Spring 2012 runway show Wednesday during New York Fashion week donning the very same dress:
The dress looks super-cute on Alexa also, but her accessories just pale in comparison to those of SJP!! Black heels and a black clutch are just sorta…blah. Once you see Proenza Schouler paired with Nicholas Kirkwood….oh man….there is no going back!
What do you think? Do you like SJP in the sexy blue Proenza Schouler bubble dress or Alexa? Who is your favorite?
Happy Friday, friends!!
I want to go to a fashion show in New York and sit next to this threesome!
Olivia Palermo, Sophia Bush and Emma Roberts were seated in the front row at the Tibi Spring 2012 runway show during New York Fashion week. All three lovely ladies were head-to-toe in the brand, and all three were looking fantastic! I think my favorite of the three would have to be Sophia, because I love dresses and I really like this leather dress on her. Olivia is a close second, though, looking quite chic in a pair of leather shorts and a flowy white blouse. Emma looks cute, too, but for some reason I am not really feelin’ her shoes. I don’t really like how they look with her dress, and she is too pale, IMO.
Which girl do you think looks best: Olivia, Sophia or Emma?
