To say that I simply “like clothes” would be a giant understatement. I love and adore clothing. Beautiful clothing makes me happy! I could shop for new clothes every.single.day and never grow tired of it! Never, ever! If I had to pick one single article of clothing as my favorite….it would have to be….the dress. I love dresses in the winter paired with tights, I love sundresses in the summer paired with wedges. I like ‘em casual and I really like ‘em fancy! What can I say, I am a dress wearin’ kind of gal! Which brings me to my next topic:
Rachel Roy
Rachel Roy is a designer that I recently stumbled across while doing some browsing online. And she is incredible! Her dresses are amazing! And reasonably priced, too, which is equally amazing!
My favorite, The Ruffled Lisa Dress:
I LOVE this dress! Totally cute and flirty and fun! It can be dressed up by wearing heels and the appropriate jewelry, or dressed down with wedges, sandals, or even flats. Totally adorable and on the very top of my must-have list! And with a price-tag of $139, not too pricey either!
And a slightly different variation of The Lisa, The Drop Waist Ruffled Lisa:
I don’t know which version of “The Lisa” I like more! I love the color combination on this particular dress. The olive-green and black look great together, and it makes it really easy to wear both brown and black accessories! Normally I would try to stay away from mixing brown and black accessories (belt, clutch, shoes) but this color block dress makes for the perfect starting off point to mix’n'match! The higher-waisted version is going to more universally flattering on different body types, but I think they are both super cute! The Drop Waist Ruffled Lisa is also $139.
Next up, The Burlesque Dress
How utterly amazing is this dress?! It is a mix of leopard print, lace and a little bit of fringe all rolled into one fabulous dress! I think this dress is the perfect party dress and here is why: 1. it isn’t so short that you might have the urge to tug on it all night and 2. the only accessory this dress needs is a gorgeous pair of heels! This dress is classy and sassy at the same time, with just enough “oomph” that you don’t need to accessorize-except for your shoes! And guess what else? It is a steal at only $63.99!! Last, but certainly not least, The 24/7 Dress
The 24/7 Dress is chic, sexy and versatile. This is a dress that the working woman could wear to work and then wear out with friends to get dinner and drinks. And again, as with the other dresses, this dress is easily dressed up or dressed down, depending on how you wear it and what you pair with it. Great dress, great price! ($109)
