Celeb Street Style: Eva Mendes

 

Who:  Eva Mendes

What:  Out-and-about in Los Angeles

Wear:  3.1 Phillip Lim (dress), Rebecca Minkoff (shoes and bag)

Verdict:  Hello, amazing street style!  Eva looks awesome!  Okay, so we know this Phillip Lim dress is utterly covetable.  The color, the style…it is so freaking cute.  But it’s the accessories that surprise/amaze me!  The mustard color of Eva’s sandals and the minty-turquoise color of her bag (both by Rebecca Minkoff) actually look so good with this orangey-red dress!  In theory, this color palette should not work, but it just does.  Period.  These colors look so great together….Eva looks casual and comfortable (perfect for shopping) but she also looks chic and cool.  Plus, it doesn’t hurt that she is one of the most beautiful women, like, ever…in the entire world.  I love everything about this!  A+!

Golden Globe Awards Event: Nina Dobrev in Monique Lhuillier

Nina Dobrev attended Forevermark and InStyle’s ‘A Promise of Beauty and Brilliance’ Golden Globe Awards Event which was held in Los Angeles at the Beverly Hills Hotel Friday night….

Nina wore an ivory and floral print dress from the Monique Lhuillier Spring 2011 Collection.  The actress accessorized with a pink Rebecca Minkoff clutch and H. Stern jewelry.  Loose curls and soft makeup completed her look.

Nina looks great in this Monique Lhuillier floral dress!  It is pretty and ladylike, but still fun and flirty.  I really like the fact that it is light and airy looking, too!  It reminds me of something a princess would wear to a garden tea party!  So cute!

Emmanuelle Chriqui in Rebecca Minkoff

The very lovely Emmanuelle Chriqui was just one of the many celebs in attendance at ‘The Beauty Book For Brain Cancer’ launch in Hollywood Monday night….

Emmanuelle chose a Rebecca Minkoff mini-dress for the launch, and paired it with black Charles David patent leather platform pumps, Lana Jewelry gold hoop earrings and BaubleBar bracelets.   I like this dress on Emmanuelle!  I think she looks really good!  I am not crazy about her hair (she could’ve opted for something a bit more exciting!), but I like the dress!  A lot!  Aaaand it makes me really happy to see her nails painted with dark polish!  I love dark nail polish…for any time of year!  It complements this dress nicely.
