Rooney Mara looked stunning on the red carpet at the Paris premiere of her new film ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’….
The actress chose a black sleeveless Louis Vuitton dress that features a bell-shaped skirt and lots of gold embellishments! She accessorized with barely there black Givenchy sandals and deep red lips!
I think I’m in love! I think Rooney looks absolutely amazing! I love this black Louis Vuitton dress on her! She looks chic and sexy and classic and edgy….all rolled into one!
My only complaint….which really isn’t a full-blown complaint….more like a ‘lil suggestion….would be for her to wear different shoes. While her strappy Givenchy sandals are quite nice, I am not 100% sold on them in combination with this LV dress. Know what I mean? Other than that, though, I think this look is perfect! Love it!
What do you think? Do you like this short Louis Vuitton dress on Rooney? Is it sexy or is it stinky?
Earlier this week actress Anna Kendrick attended the New York premiere of her new film ’50/50′ looking lovely in lavender….
Anna’s lavender cocktail dress from the Georges Hobeika Couture Fall 2011 Collection features lace, layers and a Swarovski embroidered belt! So pretty! And on her feet? Christian Louboutin gold strappy sandals. This really is a great dress, and I actually like it paired with the Louboutin sandals! Her makeup is nice and natural, while her hair (in a loose up-do) complements the entire look.
The only think I am not crazy about is the Judith Leiber flip-top ’Madrid’ minaudière she is carrying. I love all things Judith Leiber, but I don’t think this clutch looks appropriate with such a sweet, frilly dress. I would’ve like to see her carry something in a gold tone, to match her sandals. The black on her minaudière is just too harsh for this outfit, IMO.
Check out the runway version:
Which version do you prefer? I think they both look great, although I think I prefer Anna’s choice of shoe compared to the plain, nude pumps the model is wearing! The strappy gold sandals paired with this flirty little cocktail dress really won me over! I have been less-than-impressed with Anna’s red-carpet choices lately, so this was a nice change! Very refreshing!
