An American beauty….
Celeb: Mena Suvari
Designer: Tadashi Shoji
Event: ‘American Reunion’ Photocall, Madrid
Verdict: Gorgeous! I think this red and black embroidered cocktail dress is so beautiful! I especially like the tiered skirt and 0ff-the-shoulder neckline! So pretty. This dress is the perfect mix of sexy and classy….I really love it! In fact, I want it for myself! Mena’s blonde bob and light, minimal makeup provide lovely finishing touches to this already fantastic look. Definitely an A+

Pretty in pink….
Celeb: Jenna Dewan
Designer: Tadashi Shoji (dress), Casadei (pumps), Edie Parker (clutch)
Event: ‘The Vow’ Premiere, Los Angeles
Verdict: I love it! I love everything about this Tadashi Shoji dress! It is pink and girly and lovely! The tiered tulle skirt and long, lacy sleeves are simply gorgeous. And I love that she paired it with red pumps and a red clutch. Rosy cheeks, pale pinks lips and soft curls complete this already perfect look! What a great dress!

TV show ‘The Big Bang Theory’ celebrated its 100th episode with a party at the California Science Theater in Los Angeles and cast member Kaley Cuoco was there….
Kaley wore a white and nude cocktail dress with halter neckline and grosgrain ribbon waist from the Tadashi Shoji Spring 2012 RTW Collection. The adorable actress accessorized with a funky hairdo, white peep-toe pumps and Ippolita jewelry.
First off, I LOVE this Tadashi Shoji dress. LOVE IT! It is so gorgeous! I love the lace, the halter neckline and the cinched waist…it is so flattering on Kaley! This dress is flirty and feminine, but not too young-looking, either. It is classy and chic and I want it for myself!
What I don’t like: the hair and the shoes. I actually really hate her hair. Considering she is wearing such a lovely, dainty dress, her knotty hair is way too harsh! Hair like that belongs on someone wearing ripped jeans, boots and a flannel shirt, IMO. I HATE IT! And the shoe….oh the shoes. I don’t like ‘em! Not one bit! While they do match her dress, I think they look….well, rather tacky. This goes back to what I was just saying….her dress is so classy….it deserves a classy shoe and a classy hairdo. These white pumps Kaley is wearing belong….I don’t know….in the garbage bin.
Check out the runway version…the model is wearing fabulous shoes…see what a difference it makes?!?
So, what do you think? Do you like Kaley in this Tadashi Shoji design? Do you like her hair and shoes? Yay or nay?
Actress Julie Benz walked the red carpet at the Andrea Bocelli Foundation Launch Friday night at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills….
Julie chose a salmon-colored draped one-shoulder milk jersey cocktail dress from the Tadashi Shoji Spring 2011 Collection and paired it with pewter (or black?) pumps and a gray clutch. First off, this is a great dress. I love the color on Julie and the draping makes it very flattering! She really looks amazing! What I am not crazy about are her accessories. I don’t love her choice of shoe and I don’t love her clutch. I am not really feeling the gray and black paired with the rich salmon/cantalouple color of this dress. I would’ve liked to see Julie wear a gold or nude colored heel….and the same goes for her clutch.
The verdict is this: gorgeous dress with less-than-desirable accessories.
What do you think? Do you like Julie in this Tadashi Shoji dress? Love it? Loathe it?
Dita von Teese hit the red carpet at the Pigalle Club in London for the Cointreau Prive Pop-Up Bar a couple of nights ago….
Dita looked stunning in an ivory gown from the Tadashi Shoji Spring 2012 Collection. The dress features a majorly plunging neckline and low, open back. While I am a little tired of Dita always donning retro-waves and red lips, I don’t mind it as much with this dress. I think she looks pretty darn perfect in this Tadashi Shoji design. A vision in white!
What do you think? Do you like Dita in this Tadashi dress? Yay or nay?
