Designer: Michael Kors (dress), Jean-Michel Cazabat (pumps)
Event: Vogue dinner honoring Michael Kors, London
Verdict: Perfection! Rosie looks quite lovely in this yellow and black leaf-print Michael Kors dress, which features one of my favorite things…..a sweetheart neckline! Love it! And surprisingly enough, I actually really like the white pumps paired with this dress! Kind of unexpected, but in a good way. A thin black belt served as her only accessory. Soft curls and red lips complete this pretty, ladylike look. Rosie is so gorgeous! I definitely give this look an A+!
What do you think? Do you like Rosie in this form-fitting Michael Kors dress? Love it? Hate it?
The lovely British actress graces the pages of October Vogue and talks about her man, her new movie (Anna Karenina) and lots of other stuff. Honestly, I have never been a huge Keira Knightley fan. As an actress, I mean. She is obviously gorgeous, but I don’t think she is a particularly stellar actress. That being said, I do like to see her in couture. Lots and lots of couture. She is tall and thin and honestly looks really beautiful in most everything. Which is why I can’t wait to get my hands on this magazine….
Kate Bosworth was one of the many celebs to attend the announcement ceremony for the 2011 CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund finalists in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon. Now, check out her outfit of choice:
Kate is wearing a lime-green (or yellow?) and zebra print top and brown skirt from the Proenza Schouler Spring 2012 Collection and she accessorized her outfit with black heels and a black clutch. And what appears to be bright orange lipstick. Hmmm…..
Not sure what to think about this. I know one thing, though: I don’t like it. It feels like a sort of futuristic flight attendant type outfit….certainly not something she should wear to an event for Vogue. I doubt that Kate picked this outfit out herself….probably her stylist….but still….it’s hideous. And I am wondering if she looked at herself in a mirror before stepping out in public?!
It is no secret: I am a lover of handbags. All of ‘em. I like shoulder bags, I like clutches, I like satchels, I like cross-body bags. I don’t discriminate. I love ‘em all!
Recently I was flipping through the pages of Vogue and spotted this little delight:
The Kennedy Bag by Kate Spade
The Kennedy Bag by Kate Spade is a shoulder bag with a cross-body strap and zip-top closure. It has an exterior flap pocket and multiple interior pockets and features a 14-karat light gold-plated hardware plackett on the front. And the best part?! The bow!! This bag comes in several different color combinations: black/black, grey/black and brown/black. They are all quite fantastic! It comes with a price tag of $445, which really isn’t too bad.
Santa, are you listening? CandyBarbie has been very good this year….and would love to be the proud owner of a Kennedy Bag!
Teen darling Hailee Steinfeld hit the red carpet at Teen Vogue’s Young Hollywood Party….
Hailee went with a short black and white halter dress with asymmetrical hemline from the Versace Resort 2012 Collection. She paired her geometry-inspired dress with shocking neon yellow pumps and a clutch in the same bright shade. This dress choice really surprised me! It is really edgy and almost seems too mature a dress for Hailee, but I actually think she looks cute and she is really rocking it! I am just so-so about her hair and makeup though, I feel like she could’ve done a bit more with both.
See compared to the runway version:
I think it looks good on both girls, although I do like the addition of the belt! It is sorta ’80′s…but in a good way! Know what I mean?!
What do you think? Do you like Hailee’s Versace asymmetrical black and white halter dress?
